Anthem Country Club
Anthem Country Club is an affluent, guard-gated community located in Henderson at the base of the Black Mountains that features numerous lush amenities for residents, including waterfalls, pine tree landscapes, and an 18-hole championship course designed by Hale Irwin and Keith Foster. It is part of the Anthem community – also including Sun City Anthem and Coventry Homes at Anthem – which was master-planned and developed by the Del Webb Corporation in 1998.
According to Realtor.com, as of June 2024 the median sales price of a pre-existing single-family home in Anthem Country Club is $1.82 million, which is several times higher than the median home price for the rest of Nevada. The community itself has about 4,000-plus residents, with a median age of 55.
The properties in Anthem Country Club come in numerous sizes; production homes built by Pulte range from 1,600 square-feet all the way up to nearly 5,000, whereas luxury custom homes – which are typically behind secondary mechanical gates – can be over 10,000 square-feet in size.
Given its location at the base of the Black Mountains, Anthem Country Club offers a degree of elevation that makes for breathtaking views for its residents; while traveling about the community, people can admire the expansive and beautiful golf course, the Black Mountains themselves, and even the famed Las Vegas Strip.
Nature lovers will find a lot to enjoy about the Anthem Country Club, with many walking and jogging options available; in addition, the nearby Sloan Conservation area – which borders the club – offers numerous trails of varying difficulty levels.
Anthem Country Club has a Homeowners Association (HOA), which currently charges residents less than $200 per month; this fee, however, does not include membership in the Country Club or golf privileges, which must be arranged separately.
Amenities available to residents include the ability to join the aforementioned country club, as well as parks, tennis and basketball courts, a fitness center, spa services, and community pools.
There are also a variety of nearby shopping and entertainment options for Anthem Country Club residents, including the grocery stores, restaurants, retail, and professional offices; in addition, the downtown Las Vegas area – with all of its dining and nightlife options – is only a 20-minute drive away.
The education needs of Anthem Country Club are served by the Clark County School District, and several schools are nearby the community, including Elise L. Wolf Elementary, Del E. Webb Middle School, and Coronado High School.
