Mountain’s Edge is a master planned community in the unincorporated town of Enterprise in Clark County, Nevada. It is a neighborhood within the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley. Focus Property Group started the construction of Mountain’s Edge in February, 2004. The development plans included 14,500 homes and more than 22 neighborhoods with stores, office space, and shopping centers. The median single-family home price in Mountain’s Edge is currently $315,000, which comes to approximately $157 per square foot.
Mountain’s Edge has established itself as the leader among Las Vegas master planers, and has consistently ranked as the best-selling master planned community in Nevada, in addition to also named among the country’s top master plans by national real estate advisory firms. The signature recreational venues at Mountain’s Edge are Exploration Peak, a fully restored 2,846-foot-tall natural mountain park at the community’s entrance, and Exploration Park, an 80-acre western-themed park at the mountain’s base. In addition, bicycle trails and walking paths lead up to several vantage points atop Exploration Peak.
There are also numerous schools serving the educational needs of the children of Mountain’s Edge, as managed by the Clark County school district; these schools include Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary School, William V. Wright Elementary School, Lois and Terry Tarkanian Middle School, Lawrence and Heidi Cannarelli Middle School, Wilbur and Theresa Faiss Middle School, and Desert Oasis High School.
